In
1957, born in Aomori prefecture. Graduated from Waseda university. In 1984, as presidency of Shichitensya Company established atelier in Nerima. Since then, works as writer and director. In 1994 after company breakup, established little theater Ekoda STORE HOUSE. Established STORE HOUSE COMPANY at that time. Since 1999, hold Physical Theater Festival as a president to find out possibility of modern drama as a matter of performers' body. Next year hold that festival in Soul. Seventh one is coming in 2006. In 1999, begin by Suwon Hwasong International Theater Festival (Korea) give a performance in foreign countries, such as Russia (Moscow, Saint Petersburg), Egypt (Cairo International Experimental theater), Germany-Switzerland tour (Cologne, Frankfurt, Basel), Korea (Seoul, Gochang). |
